The airline was established and started operations on November 3rd, 2004. Albatros Airways offers low-cost, direct flights between Albania and Italy.
Even though it has only 1 aircraft, a Fokker 100 airplane, it utilizes it as efficiently as possible. Great staff and premium customer service separates this airline from the rest.
On September 1, 2006, the airline was fined and was advised to stop selling tickets. Albania’s Civil Aviation announced the company has debts of more than 500,000 USD. The Grounding led to heavy political controversies in Albania.
As of right now, it is unknown whether the company is still operating flights.

Hours guarantee: 200blk hours per month
ACMI Rate: EUR 4,350pbh
Crew per diems: EUR 100.00 per crew member, per day
Rate is excluding: all direct operating costs including but not limited to; landing, handling, fuel, oil and lubricants, ramp services, and parking charges; passenger baggage and third party liability insurance; hull insurance surcharge in relation to operations deemed to have an increased risk by insurers; navigation and over-flight fees; Euro-control charges; passenger taxes; air passenger duty; passenger delay amenities; environmental charges, taxes and levies (including but not limited to climate levies and carbon emission taxes), passenger denied boarding compensation; security charges; customs and immigration charges; de-icing; crew and passenger catering; crew hotel accommodation acceptable to Lessor’s pilot management, crew transport, crew per-diems, aircraft interior cleaning; passenger ground transport; landing rights; airport slots, traffic and diplomatic clearances.
